By your 35th birthday its safe to assume most people have definitely experienced a lot of what life has to offer. You may have been married or divorced by now, had children, graduated from college, developed a career or your own business, or overcame some type of tragedy in your life such as a death in the family or something personal. At this age your not quite 40 and for sure not hanging with the 20 something’s…its definitely an interesting point in life.
For me, I’ve learned a lot about myself over the years and especially learned how to become comfortable in the skin I’m in. I know what I want and what I don’t want – my goals, intentions, and what I want out of life have become very clear. I contribute that knowledge to the ups and downs that I’ve experienced over the years or what they call just living life – this is the stuff you just don’t know in your 20’s. Ten years ago I made a huge decision to pick up and move to Atlanta after college and it was probably one of the best decisions ever. At this point I have a great career in IT – no husband or kids yet but who knows that may be in my near future.
To celebrate my 35th birthday, I decided I would have a bday inspired photoshoot. It wasn’t intentional but most of the items I selected to wear I purchased from one of my favorite online stores ShopAkira.com. Check out some of my favorite pics below:
River Island Jacket // Akira Top // River Island leather skirt // Zulilly Shoes
Akira Jacket// ASOS Leather Skirt // Lola Shoetique Booties
Miss Guided Body Suit // Akira Skirt // GoJane Boots

December 4, 2016I love everything. My favorite is the Black/white jacket and leather skirt. Love the Cognac colored boots. Like you, i have healthy legs and it’s difficult finding boots that fit. Help. (This is your mom’s friend)
